A small group (about 25-30 persons) is led on this fascinating walking tour by a licensed Rome city guide to these important and interesting Ancient Roman monuments. The tour includes a visit to the Colosseum, the most famous monument and symbol of the city. of Rome; the Roman Forum - the political, military and social centre of the Roman Empire; the Arch of Titus and the Arch of Constantine. The guide will explain the history of these monuments and tell many curious stories and anecdotes about them. Visitors will be provided with headphones that amplify the guide's voice.

Group tours run from 20 March 2008 to 15 October 2008.  Tours before 20 March and after 15 October or in a language other than English must be requested as a Private Tour (see below, option 2.)


The cost of the tour includes:
  • Direct entrance to the Colosseum and Roman Forum without waiting in the General Admission line.
  • Ticket to the Colosseum and Roman Forum
  • An expert and authorized Rome city guide.
  • Headphones to hear the guide better.
  • All booking fees.

Join us for a visit to this imposing site of ancient gladiatorial tournaments and to other important Ancient Roman monuments including the colossal Arch of Constantine, the Arch of Titus, the Roman Forum and Trajan's Column.


Notes: Our tours are led by professional guides who are licenced by the city of Rome.  They are either native speakers or are fluent in the requested language.  Comfortable walking shoes are recommended.  It is not recommended that guests in wheelchairs take this tour as part of it is over gravel roads and some difficult terrain.
